MIER COMUNICACIONES activity is carried out in a liable to be degradable environment. Nevertheless, avoiding this degeneration has become its fundamental gauge.
Therefore, we wish to introduce environmental improvements into our production process right there, where they are required. Environmental care, resource usage efficiency and energy constitute major priorities in our company project as well as the taking up of environmental harmless processes, which contribute to make technological innovation attainable and viable.
We consider that the start of key factors such as environmental practices, help to reach a suitable company management and thus, to ensure the continuity of our company in the future.
This environmental care comes true by fulfilling environmental legislation and by improving continuously the process of our company activity.
We recognise the importance of reducing the effects of our activity upon the environment, as far as technology and company means allow us. Therefore, we acknowledge the importance of applying an adequate environmental management by carrying out an integrated control of the process variables, which can affect environment, both including suppliers and contractors.
Although our activity is basically not very aggressive with the surroundings, we make special emphasis on: finite resources consumption, residual flows and solids generation, substance emission into the atmosphere, electromagnetic spectrum contamination and aesthetic impact of radiant systems onto the rural surroundings and as a consequence of our supplying of satellite equipment, we worry as well about the waste accumulation around the Earth.
The reason for the introduction of an environmental management system is the assurance of a continuous control and improvement applied to all our processes in an organised way.
Our general goals are therefore:
- To secure the total accomplishment of legislation and other requirements, which MIER COMUNICACIONES has subscribed.
- To minimise the amount of generated residual flows and its degree of danger.
- To avoid unnecessary use of resources.
- To sensitise and make both personnel and interested parties aware of the importance of environmental respect.
The policy and general objectives are transferred to the whole of the company personnel.
