MIER COMUNICACIONES is a private company, , whose headquarters are located in the surroundings of Barcelona and it stands from more than 50 years of industrial tradition. The company's Transmission Division is devoted to the design, manufacture and installation of professional equipment for TV, Digital Radio and DTT broadcasting (such as transmitters, transposers, gap-fillers, radiating and receiving systems, multiplexers), CATV and MMDS equipment, as well as digital radio-links and repeaters for GSM telephony networks. On the other hand, the Space and Microwaves Division is responsible for the design and manufacture of equipment for satellite communications in ground as well flight segment (solid state power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, receivers and other on board equipment), having developed its own technology in space electronics. For this reason MIER COMUNICACIONES has been selected by the European Space Agency (E.S.A.) in several space programmes, therefore becoming the first Spanish supplier of active microwave flight equipment. MIER COMUNICACIONES manufactures its high technology electronic products under the most strict international quality rules both in the production process and technical specifications, resulting in a high degree of availability and operation of the installed centres and the satisfaction shown by our customers.
